Permaweb Names Explorer

Query the Permaweb Names phase-1/phase-2 namespace: read the namespace manifest, list every name → reference id, and recover the controller / owner from the authority tag in the reference@1.0 initialization message. Useful for checking names preserved from legacy namespaces such as ArNS, ANS, and ArProfile.

The Owner field prefers the authority tag from the reference initialization message. If there is no authority tag, it falls back to the transaction publisher address.
unknown usually means the corresponding reference initialization message has not been scanned yet, the gateway index is delayed, or the name used a different publishing path.

4. Query logic

  1. Start from the namespace root reference and parse the current namespace manifest id from reference@1.0 update/set messages.
  2. Request /raw/<manifestId>, read the Arweave path manifest paths, and obtain every name → reference id.
  3. Page through GraphQL for initialization messages where device = reference@1.0. Phase-2 legacy names are usually published by the bootstrap publisher and store the real controller in the authority tag.
  4. Join reference ids from the manifest with initialization message ids to get each name's owner / authority.
